No — and it's designed not to. We take no commission on your guided trips, we don't sit between you and your bookings, and we don't poach your clients. Advice is a new, separate income line. If anything, a trip plan is where your next guiding client comes from.
How much time does it really take?
Minutes, not hours. You don't write plans — we draft them, and you check them against what your water is actually doing and adjust. There are no minimums, you cap how many you take, and you can pause when the season's flat out.
Who are these anglers?
Locals who want to stop guessing and travelling anglers planning a trip to your water — people who've chosen to pay for your judgement rather than scrape forums. Paying anglers ask better questions and actually follow the plan.
Do anglers get my number or my socials?
No. Every plan and call runs through Reachwater — anglers never see your phone number, email or personal accounts. The “quick question” DMs move off your personal Instagram and into a place where they pay.

What does it cost me?
Nothing upfront: no listing fee, no subscription, and nothing deducted from your rate. You set what you earn, from $40 a plan and $100 a 30-minute call, and that is what reaches your account. We add a flat $20 on top when the angler pays, which at those floors makes the plan $60 and the call $120. It is the same $20 whatever you charge, so it does not grow when your rate does. It covers finding you the angler, drafting the plan you check, taking the payment, and keeping your number off their phone. These rates are current and subject to change; we tell you before a change affects what you earn.
