Depending on whether it’s a full or half day, and the client’s experience level, we tailor the day to suit. We usually start by practicing casting on the grass before heading down to the water, where the action and fun really begin. I’ll give a short lesson on reading the water, understanding what to look for, and, most importantly, thinking like a fish. From there, we select the right flies and work our way up the river, stopping along the way for a hot cup of coffee and some snacks whenever needed. I’ve never had a client finish the day without having a great time, even if we haven’t managed to catch a fish. It’s called fishing, after all! Some days they just don’t want to play ball.

- If the fish don't show
- We will still have a great day on the river regardless of if fish are caught. I always tell beginner anglers you most likely will drop your first few fish but dont be disheartened as it will happen!

- We will make the call based on the severity of the weather. In most cases we just wait it out for half an hour and it will change
